Clark Rucker

Clark Rucker is the Director of the Phantom Works Quality organization within
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS). In this role, Rucker leads the overall
strategy, program integration, management and personnel development of the
Phantom Works Quality organization across the Boeing Company. He reports to the
Vice President of Total Quality and is a member of the Phantom Works Leadership
Team. In addition he serves as the Leadership Representative on the Phantom
Works Safety Champions Team.


Prior to his current position, Rucker served as the Customer Liaison & Senior
Manager of Quality Systems Integrity for the Huntington Beach site. In this role,
Rucker was responsible for all Boeing contact/interface with the Defense Command
Management Agency (DCMA) and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)
government offices. Rucker also led the team that managed the site Quality
Management System, provided Records Control support and performed all site
Internal Audits.


Previously, while serving as the Senior Manager for Reliability & Maintainability for
the International Space Station Program, Rucker was approached to join the
Executive Rotation program for Executive Development. This assignment led him to
spend extensive time at the St. Louis, and Mesa Arizona facilities learning Lean
Manufacturing and Program Management processes on the F15 and Commercial
Helicopter Programs. Prior to this, Rucker was placed in the Executive Masters
Program and received his Masters Degree in Executive Business Administration
from the Claremont Colleges - Peter F. Drucker school of Executive Management .
Prior to his Boeing experiences, Rucker was a Senior Reliability Engineer at the
Northrop-Grumman, B2 facility responsible for the Failure Analysis of the Hydraulics
system of the aircraft. Prior to this Rucker spent five years at the General Dynamics
Advanced Weapons System facility as a Fault Analysis/Test Engineer on the
Phalanx Weapon System and the Sparrow AIM 7F Programs.

Rucker attended California State Polytechnic University Pomona and graduated
with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering Technology in 1983 and as
previously mentioned, also earned a Masters Degree in Executive Business
Administration from the Claremont Colleges - Peter F. Drucker school of Executive
Management
